Evan's 1st Pre-School Party

Evan has been doing really well at Pre-School. This is his 3rd week and he seems to be learning more and more every day. Today was his Pre-School' Easter Party and it was so much fun. There were so many pictures taken, it was hard to choose just a few.

Santa was kind enough to bring me a new MacBook Pro for Christmas and I'm learning so many new things. One of which is building a new web site. It will be a great place for me to post a ton of pictures. It's much more album oriented. I'm still designing it (learning new software) and can't wait for everyone to see what it's like. This blog will remain for now, but I'm thinking of moving everything over! I will keep you posted on what happens.

OK, enough of that...here are some pictures from today's festivities. Evan's class has been watching eggs incubate and they finally hatched! Evan was so amazed! After an Easter song and learning about the story of Easter we got to enjoy the snack with the class.

Coming out of the Church for his Easter Egg Hunt!
Look at that speed and determination.
Not even letting the girls get away with anything!
Getting down to business.
His first official Class Picture!
I've said it before....the girls and I are in big trouble when he gets older. I think this is his George Bush impression.

Evan and his proud Mommy.

I posted this one because I love seeing his goofball faces.
Like this one!
Aunt Spring is going to love this one!!! Evan showing me his chicks that his class has been monitoring!
Happy Easter!!

Evan and his adoration for the Easter Bunny

After many trips to the mall just to wave and give knuckles to the Easter Bunny, today was Evan's big day!! He had a Pre-School Easter Party (pictures coming soon) this morning, so I figured since he was already dressed we might as well go see the big furry guy!!

Happy Easter Everyone!!

Plenty of whooping it up!!

Wow this month brought lots of excitement, and thankfully NO SNOW!! :)

1st off, due to a blizzard back in February, we had to reschedule celebrating Evan's friend McKenzie's Birthday! Evan was truly a V.I.P. Guest, McKenzie asked for him special! We got to celebrate TWICE!!

We were honored to join the Ligi's on a trip to Port Discovery in Baltimore, Maryland! Here are some pictures from our day. There aren't many, we were too busy having a good time!! Thank you guys for driving us down and spending the day together!! Happy Birthday AGAIN McKenzie!! :)

Addy sleeping on the way down...saving up that energy!

Evan goofing off with me on the trip down!! We got to drive down WITH the Ligi's!

Evan and McKenzie exploring the "play store"! They really loved shopping.

There was an entire Water room!! Evan had to be really convinced to leave.

Where did you want this???
Steve and Addy watching everyone play!

Our second celebration was with our friends Madelyn and Sophia! Evan was invited to his very first Princess Party!! But let me tell you, I hope it's not his last!! Kathy really knows how to throw a Birthday Party! Evan had his very first piece of cake...that he liked!!

King Evan!
3/4 of the Ligi Family!
Hey Ladies.....:) And Yes, I know I am in big trouble, I suspect he'll do very well with the ladies!
What is happening???? Should I be doing something?
Thanks to Evan's friends for including us in your special day. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Dentists, Monster Trucks and "Real School"

Evan has been a busy boy and has been experiencing many new things.

Evan went to the Dentist for the first time on February 25th. He did a stellar job and the dentist remarked on how easy Evan was making his job. Evan is cavity free and had minimal plaque on his teeth. The Hygienist gave us a big thumbs up on brushing!! Of course the fact that Evan looks at brushing his teeth as fun, doesn't hurt.

A few weekends ago we decided to get out and do something fun after being stuck inside so much. Monster Jam Trucks were in town we traveled down to Baltimore to check it out. Evan was flipping out! He loved every minute of it and stayed the entire 2 hour show.

Grave Digger is Evan's favorite truck and he clapped and cheered whenever he would come out!

How cute are those little cheeks? Evan wasn't afraid at all of all the noise!
Mom, I can't smile and look at you AND watch the Monster Trucks!!
This is Rap Attack and this was like a huge bonus for Evan! He got to see a truck flip and another truck come out and turn him back over!
What an awesome time! We will definitely be stopping by Grave Digger's Headquarters on our way to the Outer Banks this summer!!

Lastly, a big first....Evan started real Pre-School this week. Most of you know, he's been going to a Mom's Day out program for the last year or so. But our big guy has sort of outgrown that and we enrolled him in Pre-School. He got an excellent report from the teacher on his first day! Jim picked him up from school and the teacher complimented Evan's listening skills and how well he adapted to his new environment. I think Jim was a very proud Daddy. This month's theme is birds and nesting. The class is tracking an egg incubating and will get to see it hatch a baby chick.

I think that brings you up to date, for now anyway. Evan is really doing well and is actually starting to talk our ears off. Who would have guessed? We are really proud of him and everything he has accomplished this past year. Evan is truly just so much fun to be around and has a fantastic personality, like me :) He makes us laugh all the time! And here is one last picture to prove it! I do think he will be the class clown when he grows up. Oh and I guess I used to give you stats didn't I? Well, he's currently 40.5 inches tall and 40 lbs. And growing fast!
