Just a walk in the park!

Today was a gorgeous day and we spent our afternoon at the park with some friends.  Evan has really introduced me to some awesome people!!

Corolla, OBX 2011

Hello Everyone!  Well, this year marks our 5th year vacationing in Corolla on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  I wanted to post a few pictures of our day on the 4 wheel drive beach.

We love this beach, it's like we are all by ourselves on our own little island.  We have it marked off on the GPS as "Little Buddy Beach".  And boy did he own it today!  As a parent watching your child have fun and learn new things is just amazing.  Witnessing Evan become more confident in the water and listening to his Dad teach him how to ride the waves was a special moment.  Evan is lucky to have such a great Dad.  Evan also loved watching his Brother and Sister ride the waves!

When we crested the hill he saw hundreds of TRUCKS, Semis, Jeeps, Military Vehicles, Tow Trucks, Fire Engines...TRUCKS!!!!!!  Not cars.... TRUCKS!!!!

Needless to say, he was beyond EXCITED!!

It rained so we didn't get to stay all day.  So next year we are definitely going back.  It was so worth it though, Evan loved every minute of it.  It was like a giant parking lot of everything he loves!!
