3rd Annual visit from Santa!

WOW!! That is one word for tonight.  We have had Santa visit on the Fire Engine for 3 years now and this year by far was the best. 2009 and 2010 I think he was just getting warmed up!  Evan was running around the house singing "Christmas is Coming" for hours before!  It was so funny, he didn't want to leave the house this morning for fear he would miss Santa!

When Santa came roaring in on the Fire Engine I thought Evan might just explode!!  A few of us were tearing up.  It's so amazing to see kids so excited about Santa.  Tonight was so special and amazing memories were made.
Hanging out waiting for Santa.

My New Year's Resolution....

will be to keep up with the blog on a more regular basis.  HOWEVER, until then here are some pictures to catch you up.

October is a busy Month.  We always have Evan's Birthday and Halloween.  I can hardly believe Evan is 5 years old.  Our little man still has an awesome personality and keeps us laughing!  He is doing really great at school.  This time next year he'll be in Kindergarten!  It's amazing to hear him talk and he's even reading.  I made a list recently that had his name and Legos under it and he asked me why I did that??? EEEEK!!!  Evan has an incredible memory and sense of direction.   He still loves playing with his brother and sister.  We consider ourselves lucky to have spent the last 5 years with you little buddy.  Happy Birthday.

This first post are pictures of Evan's Birthday.  Wow, what a difference a year makes.  If you remember correctly, this time last year Evan's Birthday was all about the Backyardigans.  While he still does LOVE them, this year he is crazy for Transformers.  Which makes his geeky Transformer loving Mom very happy! When I was a kid I watched the animated cartoon in the 80's!  Therefore, Mom was able to quickly bring him up to date!!

This is how Evan's "seat" looked for him when he woke up on his Birthday!

Pretty excited about the streamers.  He had been asking for them for weeks!!!

Optimus Prime Helmet!!!

His very FIRST official Transformers!!

Yeah, he was slightly excited!

Autobots ROLL OUT!!!

Leave it to Jesse...apparently while babysitting a while back Evan pointed out this truck to him and Jesse remembered.

We love you Evan!! Happy Birthday!!!

The Kiracofe Family exercising their 2nd Amendment Rights!

OK, I realize I'm way out of order.  But I'm going to start with the most recent and work backwards.  This past Saturday we traveled out to Allegheny County to the Kiracofe Family Cabin.  Chris had too much college work to do and couldn't join us.  :(

Evan was able to shoot for the first time and boy did he like it!!  We had so much fun and the surroundings were just miraculous.

This is Koren, Evan and Jim walking down to check out the targets.  I was only armed with the camera at this point!!

 Brother and sister goofing off.
 ACK, you got me........
At least everyone was wearing ear protection!

Should we be scared?  This is an AR 15.  Evan wasn't afraid at all.  We are all very proud!!

After firing 10 consecutive rounds VERY FAST!!!

Mommy's turn!!

Koren gets a shot at it.....

This is the spectacular view from the cabin.

Evan really loved it up there, as you can see.  :)

Ahhh, childhood innocence.  I love this picture of him just enjoying the day.

What blog would be complete without that cute smile??

Hanging out drinking yummy cider that Koren made for us.  Can't wait for the whole family to go back!!  We are planning a whole weekend up there soon.
