Surf and Turf....without the Turf!

Greetings everyone! Today we had another day of blue skies and sun. Although we are closely monitoring our friend "Hannah". The local forecasters here seem to think we'll just get 2 days of rain. The house is quite amazing and spending a few days in it wouldn't be the worst thing that ever happened to us!


This morning we headed out to the beach again. We checked Evan for gills today, because that boy just loves the water. He kept running back in even after I would dry him off. Let me tell you we took over 300 pictures today and sifting through them is no easy task! I'm sure you all can relate! So here's what I thought you would like!!


Seems calm....just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water....

Wow!!! Evan loves this stuff. It's so cute to see him smile and laugh when the waves hit him. But teaching him to swim is going to be a priority!!

Holy Chocolate Covered Marshmallows (guess what I'm eating)...had I seen this in real time, I probably would have freaked! But not Evan! He only wanted more. Evan did get out of the water long enough to help Chris try and find those little sand crabs. Losing his drawers!! He's so hip...
Awwwwwwwwwwwww.....what else could I say?
And yes even Mommy got in the water with him!! I'm in a t-shirt because I got a little too much sun on my chest yesterday. I'll never learn.

It's so much fun to play with him this year in the water.
Evan kept trying to sit down in the surf, but he doesn't yet understand you get breathe underwater! Here I am cramping Evan's beach style some more!!

Although he did sneak in some love for his Mom when the ladies weren't looking!!
But then it was back out in the big surf with the guys!!

Uh-oh...maybe next year he'll want to kayak!!
No, not even this wave scared him.
Getting dry again with Mommy!
Then back out into the surf...

He doesn't think he needs us..
