However, it wasn't without tears....MINE not Evan's!! HAHA!! It was much harder than I thought it would be.
So, I didn't want to embarrass him on his first day, but here are a few pictures....

He did pretty good. When I called about a half hour later he was a little upset and was looking for me. When they called me back 45 minutes after that he was doing fine and enjoying a morning snack with his class!
I was really excited to pick him up! He walked right over to me and handed a car to me that he had been playing with. Although, as I was speaking to one of the teachers he grabbed my hand and started leading me out the front door! It was so cute...I think he had enough and was ready to come home.
He's still sleeping and I put him down for his nap at 1:30 and it's 3:13 now. School definitely tuckered him out!
oh how fast they grow up!! I must say I remember the first time I sent my grown up old children off to school the first time!! Just wait when he gets on the school bus the first time.. bring a box of tissue my friend!! I love you. Stacy (thanks for posting : )
ReplyDeleteHow freakin' cute is he!!! I love his first day of school pics! I'm glad he did so great there for you... I'm sure the fact that they have cars and trucks for him to play with there helped him out a bit :)
