Only about 12 miles from our house is historical Harpers Ferry, West Virginia! So off we went!
Yes, I did find fabric!!! AND I took a picture of it!!
The trip began with Evan's first Bus Ride!! He really enjoyed riding on one of these gigantic things that he sees on the highway all the time!
I think Evan is saying..."Mom, get me out of here so I can sit on this Bench!!"
This is the bridge we are walking across in the pictures to follow... What could he be looking at down there???
Ahh, yes...a boat of course!!! My boy loves his transportation...if only he knew what was still to come!! This is the bridge we are walking across in the pictures to follow... What could he be looking at down there???
Daddy and Evan enjoying the view and I'm sure Daddy was briefing Evan on how to fish and how he used to fish these same waters when he was a young lad!!
Just a cute picture!! That face gets me every time!!
Evan got to do one of his favorite things while sightseeing...sit on stuff and look exceptionally cute doing so!!!

But then, in classic Evan style....he's got places to go and people to see!
After a walk up a steep hill...you guessed it...time to sit and enjoy biting on your bear.

Life is Good.
And perfect timing!!! Just as we arrived at the train station......here comes the TRAIN!
Dad stayed close just in case Evan got scared. He wasn't afraid, although I think he was frozen with amazement! This train was coming full speed...and we were really close to it!Daddy and Evan as the train was whizzzzing by!
How fun! I can't wait until the leaves are all changed, it'll be BEAUTIFUL up there! :-)
