The Kiracofe Family exercising their 2nd Amendment Rights!

OK, I realize I'm way out of order.  But I'm going to start with the most recent and work backwards.  This past Saturday we traveled out to Allegheny County to the Kiracofe Family Cabin.  Chris had too much college work to do and couldn't join us.  :(

Evan was able to shoot for the first time and boy did he like it!!  We had so much fun and the surroundings were just miraculous.

This is Koren, Evan and Jim walking down to check out the targets.  I was only armed with the camera at this point!!

 Brother and sister goofing off.
 ACK, you got me........
At least everyone was wearing ear protection!

Should we be scared?  This is an AR 15.  Evan wasn't afraid at all.  We are all very proud!!

After firing 10 consecutive rounds VERY FAST!!!

Mommy's turn!!

Koren gets a shot at it.....

This is the spectacular view from the cabin.

Evan really loved it up there, as you can see.  :)

Ahhh, childhood innocence.  I love this picture of him just enjoying the day.

What blog would be complete without that cute smile??

Hanging out drinking yummy cider that Koren made for us.  Can't wait for the whole family to go back!!  We are planning a whole weekend up there soon.

Evan's Senior Year of Pre-School

Hard to believe but this is Evan's last year of Pre-School before he starts Kindergarten next year.  Remember last year?  If not click here.  Or who can forget his very first 1/2 year?  Click here for that!!

Evan really loves going to the Church of the Brethren and especially likes that his best buddy Wesley is in his class this year!  He's going 5- 1/2 days.

My attempt at a before school picture!

Some of these were at the "request of Evan", he said by the window Mom!

And he posed for this one too.

Very excited about his "new door" he enters through for a different classroom this year.

Evan and "Big Money Wes" back to school together!

Goofy kids.

I let them make one goofball face!

I think the giant Cheetah is a favorite!

Evan sees the Blues

I think it started when we found out we were having a boy!  Jim talking about taking Evan to see the Blue Angels.  We've waited until we thought he was eager and ready!!  And I think this Saturday he was both!!

Evan has seen the opening to Top Gun and watched countless Blue Angel videos.  But we kept it all a secret until we got to the Air Show on Saturday at Pax River.  There were so many things in the air Evan could hardly contain his excitement!!  Planes, Helicopters and even the Army Golden Knights parachuted in!  It was a really great day, Koren and Chris were there too.  Evan even got up close to the UH-1 Huey that his brother worked with in the Marine Corps.  And of course the F-18 like his Daddy used to fly!  I've never seen the Blue Angels and it was an incredible performance.

The whole day was a success and it was great to see Jim share his love of flying with Evan.  Chris and Jim attended countless air shows when he was a kid too.

Chilling with his Sis ready to see some planes!!

Jim rolled his eyes at this one...I mean what air show is complete without Bugs Bunny?

But Evan loves Looney Tunes Cartoons and always says "What's up Doc?"

The Tallest Bouncey Slide EVER!!

Yes he loved it!

Harrier

All the "kids" watching!  Of course front row seats!

Check Evan's Aviators!!

Koren....cheesing!

Goofing around as usual!
