Valentine's Day

What a fabulous Valentine's Day I had!  It started off with a Valentine's Breakfast with Evan and my friend Spring's Daughter Addy.  Then it was off to Pre-School where I helped out with Evan's V-Day Party.  It was so much fun, I just love seeing him in his "element" and seeing the twinkle in his eye when I walk in the classroom.  After the party we went home to pick up Daddy!  Well, you see we needed him because today was Evan's final day of Flag Football and the were playing a game  of Parents vs. Kids!   Evan and Jim had a really great time.  It was really entertaining seeing the two of them together on the "field".

We finished off the evening with a trip to Panera Bread where we ran into the Ligis.   So, I began and ended my day with the Ligis.  What could be better than that?

This year Evan was totally into making Valentine's for everyone and loved the idea of the whole Holiday.   It was so adorable and really made my day.  He told me how pretty I was and how much he loved me! You know really laying it on thick.  :)

Here are some pictures from our day today!

This one is from a few weeks ago, but I thought Evan's Dinosaur Paper Cup Castle was quite impressive!!

Evan occupies DC!!

And got a lot more accomplished!! HAHA!!

Over the Christmas break we took advantage of the time off and nice weather and went on a 2 day trip to DC.  Evan still really loves trains, so we (Jim, Evan, Chris and I) took the 7:40 AM MARC train down to Union Station.  We got to walk around the city, ride the metro, eat some good food, visit Dad's office, stay in a hotel (fun for Evan), explore some museums, see 2 Train gardens and the White house!

Evan was really a trooper and kept up with us walking and I only complained a little! :)

School Christmas Festivities

This year was really special because it's his last year of Pre-School and the Christmas festivities that he won't get to experience in public school.

He spent weeks singing songs and practicing his poems.  Evan was so excited.  The minute they all filed into the church, I started crying.  I was one really proud Mom!

Here are some pictures from his Christmas party and a few snapshots from the Christmas pageant!!
