Max & Ruby

Yes, I still want a viable explanation as to where Max & Ruby's parents are...but the show was really fun.

I'm always looking for fun stuff to do and one day I found out there was a LIVE Max & Ruby show.  Evan still really loves the cartoon.  Even if it does drive his father and me NUTS!!  We even got to share the show with some really great friends.  OF COURSE, Mckenzie and Aunt Spring, Hannah and Ella and Hannah's sister Leah and her son Parker joined us.

It was a blast for sure.  McKenzie and Evan got to drive down together and watch movies on the way to Baltimore.  Here are some pictures from our big night in the "big city". (that's what Evan calls it!)  I'm still holding out for the big Backyardigans show!!!

I know it's not Max & Ruby, but Evan was chilling with his older brother  Diego before we left!

Wow...the costumes and set were amazing.  Really well done.

Who knows....just love that smile!

Evan and McKenzie were very excited to get the official wands of Max and Ruby!

McKenzie and her Mommy!

Do you think he was excited at all??? :)

This smile confirmed how much he really enjoyed himself.

Or maybe it was the wand!! :)

A cheater post.

Yes I'm going to copy a post from my other blog www.switchinthekitchen.blogspot.com .

Enjoy!!  I think you'll understand why when you click HERE.

My furry first born

Wayyyyy before Evan there was my baby boy Diego.

Today is his 17th Birthday.  My little buddy has been through so much with me.  I first got Diego when I lived in San Diego and he drove with me here to Maryland when he was just a kitten.  He's lived in about 15 different homes with me since then.

I couldn't ask for a more loyal and loving pet.  I love him very much and can't express how happy I am he's been with me 17 years!!

Happy Birthday Diego Dominick Kiracofe! AKA- Faticus, Deegy, Fat Pig!

MONSTER JAM!!!!!!!

We went to Monster Jam again this year!   Last year was such a blast and it really got Evan started with his love of Monster Trucks.

Evan's favorite truck is still Grave Digger.  On our way to the Outer Banks last summer we stopped in at Grave Diggers Dungeon and met the owner/driver Dennis Anderson and got Autographs.  Evan was crazy excited...here's a link to that action too.

Jim has some sort of ear infection and couldn't go today, so Evan's Aunt Melissa went with us!!  We had a great time! Here are just a few of the pictures!!

Evan and his Aunt Melissa

Catching up with his buddy Jamie.

They were both pretty stoked about it!

Of course he doesn't want his picture taken with Mommy!

Cheering on the trucks!!

VERY HAPPY BOY!!!

Mom...stop taking pictures of me.

GRAVE DIGGERRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Parking Deck...waiting to get out!!!  Evan loved watching the Light Rail.

What a fun day!

Winter Cuteness

Evan is definitely going through his "CHEESING" for the camera stage.  He loves to act out what he's doing or thinking.  Making goofball faces is one of his favorite past times.

Just a quick Evan update and we'll move on to pictures.

Evan STILL loves the Backyardigans, doing really great at pre-school and making new friends, we gave up sippy cups, wears his big boy underwear to bed (although this was more of a mommy problem!!),  has a new love for mashed potatoes, sleeps without the safety rail on his bed, learned what it means to be embarrassed, 43.5 inches tall and built his first snowman (spoiler alert!).

On to some pictures!

Playing with Dad on the construction site!!

I can't tell you how much Evan loves this pile of dirt!

Union break.

I just loved the little folded hands.  So darn cute.

Dad was building a road for Evan!

Not sure who had more fun....mmmmm......

Taking a break with Daddy.

Goofing off after playing outside for hours!!!

On President's Day we visited the Udvar Hazy Air & Space Museum

Exhibit B

You get the idea.....

He was "pushing buttons like the Astronauts do"
