Tomorrow, October 21, 2007 my baby boy will turn 1. It's been an incredible journey and he has changed my life in more positive ways than I EVER could have imagined.

He's also getting a brand new website starting on Monday. The current site will remain up for your viewing pleasure for a while. You will receive notification via email of the new Website address.

Thank you all for your comments and for sharing Evan's 1st year with us. We really hope you enjoy the new website and will continue to enjoy Evan's 2nd year!!

Hello everyone...Evan Kiracofe here. My mom said since I've been getting into EVERYTHING that I should narrate this post...now I realize it's unusual for a 11 Month old...almost 1 year old to use the word narrate. But hey, I'm ahead of my time. So without further ado here are some new pictures for all of you Evan Addicts!!

This is my..."go ahead and look away Mommy, I promise to be good" face. I immediately started pushing and dragging this fine cardboard box around. Shipments are my favorite! And see the oven, with all my fingerprints on it! It's sooo funny to watch her clean it everyday. She must want to give me a clean slate.

I've mastered emptying the trash can like a raccoon, but the refrigerator is still eluding me. If I could just distract her for a while, I'm confident I could figure this out. I've seen inside and it's a plethora of fun! Plethora for those of you who don't know what plethora means: A superabundance; an excess. I told you, I'm smart!

I can also do this. Mom, gets real excited, not sure why. One day soon, just for fun I'm going to lift my feet up and walk over to her. But I'm saving it until there is no camera around!!

Anything that is within arms reach, I grab and drag to the ground to play with! Like this jacket of mom's.

And don't worry, if mom gets mad I just use this look:

I also can be very serious. Here I take time to reflect on what I've accomplished by 9:00 AM.

That's it for now. I sure hope you've enjoyed these pictures of me in my pj's. Soon, I'm getting a whole new website for my Birthday. I haven't learned how to email links yet, so my Mom will send the new link to you. She told me the new site will be up to post my 1st Birthday Pictures! Our Punkin visits the Pumpkins!

While Koren was visiting, she, Evan and I went to our local pumpkin patch to check things out.

There were these really cute little pigs, that oinked and were sooo cute...... and I thought Evan would just love them!!
However, Evan was NOT impressed!! We tried and tried to calm him...but he would have no part of them.

Not even the goats, ducks or sheep...he just was not buying it!

So, we moved on and investigated the pumpkins!! They were a lot quieter that's for sure, no oinking!!

Eventually Evan decided on a much smaller pumpkin, and this is his 1st official pumpkin!

More Bath Pictures

Evan still loves taking a bath! He makes such a mess with the splashing...I'm sure to regret teaching him to do that. He's 11 months old now!

Of all the toys he has, he truly loves the stackable cups the best! Who would have guessed?

A note from Evan:

Happy Almost-Fall Everyone!! I'm doing really well. I've got my 7th Tooth poking though..OUCH that hurt! I'm growing like crazy and keep my mom and dad on their toes! You should see the barricades I break through! I'm still making mom crazy with rejecting chunky food, I figured eh, why should I work any harder...might as well take advantage of her spoon feeding me. So, as I look forward to my 1st Birthday...geez, that's hard to believe, I took today to gather my thoughts and enjoy the weather. I am going to turn it over to my Mom now, since I haven't learned how to upload my pictures yet. Thanks to everyone for keeping up to date on my life so far!! BYE BYE!!! Love, Evan :)

It doesn't get much better than this!! Evan was outside while his dad was building a barn extension. The weather was just spectacular and Evan was just taking it all in.

He enjoyed the fall leaves...maybe a little ranch dressing might make them taste better!!Amazing, he won't eat cheese, ham, chicken, turkey, etc...but a dried out leaf..that's YUMMY!!

Mom, you know...you just let me eat a leaf.... I'm telling!!

Little Buddy goes to the Park

It was so beautiful out today, that I decided to give the park in Jefferson a try. Evan is still a little young for most of the equipment. But I think we had fun anyway!

Evan eats cheese AND enjoys Labor Day Weekend

Evan really enjoyed having the weekend to relax!! He's been having so much fun crawling, climbing, grabbing and keeping mom on her toes! Evan thinks it's really funny when I have to chase after him. He's finally taken a shine to cheese. It took us a while, but now he is enjoying White American! Other finger foods he likes are Cheerios, Teddy Grahams, Crackers, Bananas, Ham....I think that's about it. The little guy has been a little hesitant on his cold or moist finger foods. But I think he's coming around.

Well, here are some pictures from his weekend cookout with some neighbor friends, enjoying the pool and having fun!

Roz the Cat 4.1.92 - 8.30.07

Since this blog is called Evan and Family...I thought I would use the "Family" space to pay my respects to Roz. Roz was 15 years old and passed on to Kitty Heaven today. She was Jim's best buddy, Koren's Little Sister and Chris's napping buddy. I got to know Roz over the last 7 years and loved her like she was one of my own. She was the only girl left in the house for me to pal around with.

Of course she meant just everything to Jim, Koren and Chris. Roz was lucky to have them as family for the last 15 years.

You will be missed Roz.

Only 4 people...and my mom...

So far....only 4 people are reading Evan's Blog...and my mom who emailed me!!! I know Evan's Dad looks at it...that brings us to 6. I don't know who the one Anonymous person was who mentioned "It's like The Truman Show". So, I'll put it out there one more time.....

So it looks like his Aunt Melissa doesn't read it, his Uncle Chuck & Aunt Sonja aren't catching up.....I won't tell Evan!

I'm withholding pictures until Sept 1st!!! Maybe by then I'll have an accurate count.

Evan is 10 Months old today. I can hardly believe it. He's grown so fast. Seems like just yesterday he looked like this. Wasn't he just the cutest? So small, adorable, sweet, cute, snuggly, perfect, smooth, calm, still and QUIET!!


Now my little Wild Man is moving like crazy. We lowered his crib today, he was trying to climb out of it! Here are some pictures of us playing on his 10 Month Birthday:

No camera tricks this time. Evan is really standing on his own. He can do it for a few seconds at a time. I snapped this picture as fast as I could.
